November - a month for Thankfulness!
There is just something about the month of November that makes you dig a little deeper into the holiday spirit. When fall comes around, one starts to think -or at least I do- about warm drinks, fireplaces, leaves changing colors, the large spread of food on Thanksgiving Day, or the most important thing of all - THANKFULLNESS! Here at Winky Designs, when thankfulness was brought up, our team decided we were the most thankful for these 3 things:
1. Family - A bond that ties many unique people together as one. Without family, we would have nothing. We need to always be thankful for the family we were given, even though it's easy to take them and their unconditional love for granted! Thank them for pushing us and challenging us to do the unthinkable, and never give up on our dreams!
2. Friends - Where would we be without friends? A solid support group is key! Whether it be that one friend, or group of friends, that know what to say to lift your spirits. They're always around when you're looking for a smile or a hug, or know when to give you the right comfort even if you don't know you need it! These are the people who give us memories that we look back on and question if we were even in our right minds when it happened. Those are the memories that will last a lifetime!
3. Time - Now you might be thinking, "well, that’s a weird thing to be thankful for". However, time is one of the everyday things most people take advantage of. Without time, we would have no reason to live in the moment, or even have something to look forward to throughout the day. Today, as well as most days, we feel as if we don’t have enough time in one day to accomplish our everyday tasks, so this Thanksgiving, let's be thankful for the time we get to spend doing whatever you love to do.
If we all just picked one thing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, other things you are thankful for will start to flood your mind. We will realize that even when things look bad on the outside, all you have to do is just dig a little deeper on the inside. What are you thankful for this season? :)
